If we are contacted by the actor or their representatives to remove their listing or hide data, we do not actually delete the data, we unpublish it. This is because removal can result in us accidentally restoring it in the future, causing unnecessary stress.
Removing an Actor
If an actor page needs to be entirely removed, change the post from public to private.
Automated
To automatically remove an actor page, edit their page and scroll to the bottom.

Select “Hide All” and enter the details into the notes section. Save the post and it will be made private, hiding all information except for logged in admins.
Manual

If an actor is private, assume it’s for a reason and do not republish unless a senior editor approves.
It is recommended you use the “Private Note” block to leave an editor only message as to why:

Removing Partial Data
Some actors only wish to have some data removed. For that, you can use the same form:

Check the items to hide and update the infobox.
If there is additional information removed, include it in the notes. If there is data you cannot remove, speak with a senior editor and it will be updated (and the code improved).
